Russia's Evolving Military Strategy

The research project traces the evolving contours of Russia's contemporary military strategy. It examines analyses conceptual evolution of the Russian strategic thinking, and identifies transient and permanent elements in Russia's symmetric and asymmetric responses to the changing domestic conditions, external strategic environment, and challenges of modern-day and future conflict.
