The seminar “A new world order? Asia, Europe and the United States” is taking place on 8 August at 10.00–11.30, followed by a light lunch.

The international rules-based liberal order is at a critical inflection point due to the revisionist tendencies of great powers, and doubts over the continued willingness of the United States to support this order. Which are the consequences for Asian and European security? On August 8, leading experts in the field will discuss this important issue.

  • Svein Melby, senior fellow at IFS (Trump's defence and security policy).

Jo Inge Bekkevold, Head of Centre for Asian Security Studies at IFS.
