​​​​​(b. 1982) MA (2008) and PhD (2015) in political science from the University of Oslo. PhD fellow and research fellow at IFS in the period 2010-2015. Dissertation about burden-sharing in international operations and Norway's military engagement in Afghanistan (ISAF). Assisted the secretariat of the Norwegian Commission on Afghanistan in spring 2015. Oma is since May 2015 part of the research programme Security in Northern Europe (SNE) as senior fellow. Her ongoing project concerns interoperability and operational cooperation between allies and partners in the Nordic-Baltic region.
