Anders G. Romarheim holds a master’s degree in political science from
the University of Oslo, Norway. He also has studied English and
American language and Culture, and took parts of his degree at the
University of Leeds in the United Kingdom.
Romarheim joined the
Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies (IFS) in 2006. He is now Fellow
at IFS’ Transatlantic Centre focusing on terrorism and US foreign
policy. Prior to joining IFS, Romarheim was head of Terrorism Studies at
the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), and he was
affiliated with NUPI from January 2003.
Romarheim contributes regularly in Norwegian media, often as a columnist in the weekly newspaper Morgenbladet.
