Sigurd Sørlie (b. 1975) has a Cand. Philol. from the University of Oslo 2004, an MA in history form the University of Exeter 2006, and a PhD in history from the University of Oslo 2015.
Sørlie is employed at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies since May 2014
. He was formerly employed at the Center for Studies of Holocaust and Religious Minorities in Oslo. He is currently Head of the Centre for Civil-Military Relations.
