Lea Bjørgul (b. 1993) is a research assistant at the Center for Security Policy at the IFS. She is MA student at the Department of Political Science at the University of Oslo (UiO). She holds BA in international relations from UiO (2017). In the period 2015–17 she served as President of the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association Norway. Bjørgul has previously worked as a consultant at UiO (2017) and was an intern at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Washington D.C. (2018), where she focused on issues related to security policy and the Arctic. In the period 2018–19, she was advisor at the Norwegian Atlantic Committee, with a special focus on issues related to Euro-Atlantic security and the Arctic.
