Shane Brennan

Shane is an ex Army Officer (Maj) with over 16 years’ experience from the Irish Defence Forces. He has worked at all levels of the organisation including operational units, as an instructor in the Irish Defence Forces Military College, Brigade HQ (G7) and Joint Defence HQ (J1).

He has completed a number of international deployments to Lebanon (UNIFIL), Western Sahara (MINURSO), Syria and Jerusalem (UNTSO).

He is currently completing a Global MBA through the University of London and is also a graduate of the University of Galway (Bachelor of Commerce specialising in HRM) and Maynooth University (specialising in Leadership, Defence & Contemporary Security).

Shane has also graduated from the Irish Defence Forces Military College, National Defence University Bucharest, Nordic Centre for Gender in Military Operations (NCGM) and the Peace Support Operations Training Centre (PSOTC) Bosnia & Herzegovina
