The Norwegian Defence University College consists of seven educational departments and one research institute.
We have the Armed Forces and Norway's foremost academic discipline within land power, sea power, air power, joint operations, as well as defence and security policy.
Research and development at the Defence College contributes the Armed Forces' and society's need for knowledge about military forces' practical opportunities and limitations under varying technological, social, political and cultural conditions. The core task of the University College is to educate all commissioned and non-commissioned officers (NCOs).
