Security and Military Power in the Arctic

This research project originates from the research group "Security and Military Power in the Arctic," led by Professor Njord Wegge at the Norwegian Military Academy. The project investigates how NATO can project power and protect its northern flank in an era characterized by increasing great power rivalry. The objective of the project is to produce high-quality research and foster collaboration among researchers from various institutions.

The project aims to actively involve cadets and students, encouraging them to participate in activities that stimulate research and peer-reviewed publication. It seeks to promote both peer-reviewed and popular science publications, including organising seminars, workshops, and conferences.
