Siv Hilde Houmb
Prof.dr. Siv Hilde Houmb is Professor II at the Norwegian Defence Cyber Academy, Professor II at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), senior advisor in Operational Technology (OT) security at Houmb AS, on the board of directors at Netsecurity AS, and serves on multiple national and international standards committees.
Houmb has a PhD in cyber security and decision theory, more than 25 years’ experience in cyber security and critical infrastructure, and a long and extensive industry background. Experience covers risk assessment, security protocols development, attack protection strategies, ethical hacking (penetration testing), and monitoring and surveillance technology for cybersecurity.
Houmb has published more than 100 scientific papers and articles on cyber security and risk assessment, as well as engineered several security protocols and technical security. Houmb has over the last 15 years focused on cybersecurity challenges for critical infrastructure, including Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and how they could be used to severely impact a Nation’s core infrastructure.
