Johannes Rø

​​​b. (1980). MA (2005) and PhD (2011) in political science from the University of Oslo. Student at the Humboldt University of Berlin in 2003. PhD fellow at IFS from 2006 and guest researcher at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C. in 2007–08. Assistant professor at IFS from 2011. Ro is Head of the Centre for Transatlantic Studies.

Rø lectures at The Norwegian Defence University College and the University of Oslo, is a regular columnist in the weekly newspaper Morgenbladet and is member of the editorial board of the NUPI journal Internasjonal Politikk.
