Marianne Røgeberg

Head of the R&D unit in the Dean's office at the Norwegian Defence University College. The unit’s areas of responsibility include strategies/analysis, support to researchers regarding external R&D funding and dissemination, international cooperation, R&D and GDPR issues, etc. Former Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, Research and Innovation Department, Head of Arctic Affairs at NordForsk, National Expert in the European Commission and Project Manager at Telenor.

Major in Economic Geography from the University of Oslo (thesis on the political framework conditions for competitiveness and growth in the IT / telecommunications industry).

Participated in the research school "Nordic Research School in Innovation and Entrepreneurship" (NORSI) and completed the following PhD courses:

• "The foundations of innovation"
• “Economics of innovation”
• “Regional innovation systems”
