Knut Ola Naastad Strøm

Knut Ola Naastad Strøm (b. 1986) holds a PhD in economic history from the University of Gothenburg. He defended his thesis in 2019. Strøm has also held a post-doctorate in modern history at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. 

Strøm joined the faculty at the Royal Norwegian Air Force Academy as an associate professor in 2020. He lectures on airpower theory and application, modern history and security. His field of interest includes western economic warfare, transatlantic relations, and Scandinavian defense and security.
