31 May: Arctic Challenge Exercise 2023
The Arctic Challenge Exercise from 29 May to 9 June is one of the Europe's largest live air exercises. The media day in Norway will be arranged on 31 May at Ørland air station.
This year’s participants include thirteen nations, as well as NATO AWACS. In total, the exercise will be operated out of four bases: Ørland in Norway, Kallax in Sweden, and Rovaniemi and Pirkkala in Finland.
Press programme
There will be photo and video opportunities and possibilities to interview participating nations. Static display of NASAMS, F-16, F-35 and JAS Gripen. In addition there will be takeoff with F-16 and F-35. Distance between photo spot to the runway is approximately 200 meter.
A detailed program will be released closer to the event.
